Hello! I am new to the forum board and would like to see if I could get some help with an electrical issue I am having. I am one month into a CJ7 restoration and am having an issue with the turn signal/flashers. When the running lights are on, the side markers do not come on. When the headlights are on the lights do not flash. When the headlights are off, all of the lights including the sidemarkers, flash when the flashers are on. The turn signals do not flash at all. All of the lights are LED's and both of the flashers are brand new and meant to be used with LED's. The sidemarkers went out after the light bulbs were replaced in the dash. Any help is very much appreciated! I am stuck.
Hey I'm in the same boat have been posting a couple days now. What type of flasher relay did you try. I'm doing each wire individually and making great progress. Lets work together.:grin2:
Oh Spieg8 reminded me to be careful about positive to positive and negative you get me. I found a couple already and have my rear lights just about finished.
I don't get you, elaborate please. We just found out the drivers side had a bad ground and the drivers side front turn signal and sidemarker lights are coming on again but still aren't flashing with the turn signals. Passenger sidemarker is still out
Ok not sure we're your lost. Seem like you have neg and positive wire crossed. Are your rear lights working. I've had to run multiple grounds to get light all working.
