Cherokee Cubby Hole Sub enclosure *pics*

I had posted a thread about a month ago with the beginning pictures of my sub enclosure that I'll be building...well the fun continues. I'm trying my hand at fiberglass...and after lots of research and tips from pros...I'm happy to say that so far so good...here are some pics to document my progress thus far:

I started by creating a cardboard template:

I then taped off the area with the template in place:

Then put foil over that:

Then began glassing:

I removed the mold and continued adding layers of glass:

I'll keep the pics coming as I progress!!

Thanks! Well I'm still not exactly sure how far I'll be coming out with my intended enclosure...so I'd rather have a little too much than not enough. In other words...I'm not going to mount the face flush with the glass...it'll be pulled out a bit...but not sure how far yet.

Unfortunately I haven't done anything more than what you see so far. I had to put a steering box on the TJ last night, and tonight I'm busy, so hopefully Wednesday I can start again...thanks for the interest and I'll keep you updated on the progress
