Unhappy 2017 Grand Cherokee Nav Issues

Hi! I have a 2017 Grand Cherokee Limited, and quite often - my Nav displays my location as off the road and is not very accurate. Sometimes it works great, but most of the time its just not showing my location correctly on the map...like the car will show as if its off the road just making no sense.

Does anyone have suggestions for how I can re-set the Nav? Or maybe any other ideas for how to fix this/why it may be happening?

Have you had the OTA update yet? Check your radio software version. Should be 18.45.01. This link might work https://www.driveuconnect.com/suppor...to-update.html

If not, goto driveuconnect.com and at the software update page, put in your vin and download the update and instructions.

There is a rollover bug in the GPS that is due to the date function and the OTA fixes it.

Hi, it sounds like your Uconnect system needs to be updated. The files for software level 18.45.01 are currently available on driveUconnect.com. I would recommend checking if this update is available for your vehicle. If so, you will be able to download the software to a USB and update your vehicle at home. Please let me know if you have any questions.

I received a flash drive with a NAV System software update for my 2016 JGC Overland and also one for my 2016 Ram 2500 Laramie P/U. I didn't receive one for my 2019 JGC Trail Hawk.
I just need to figure out how to install it now it's a usb port flash drive.

Interestingly enough, so did I. Shows you what UConnect support knows. They told me that the FW fix was in the 18.45.01 OTA update. The 2019 is a different radio and probably had the fix in the initial FW release of the radio where us with older 8.4AN's don't have the latest firmware.
