04 KJ fog light install/wiring help/parking light help

I posted this same thread in the KJ forum and so far haven't come up with what I'm looking for.

I am installing some Hella 500s on my 04 KJ liberty. I want to set them up so they are on when the low beams OR the high beams are on. I know I need to tap into the parking light positive wire to accomplish this. What I don't know is how to do that.

I need access to the parking light positive in the cabin since its going to get wired to a rocker switch. Does anyone know the best/easiest way to tap into this in the cabin? I know there's a cluster of wires under the dash but I've been unable to find any info on what color wire I'm looking for(even after scouring multiple forums for days). I've been looking for factory wiring diagrams too(to no avail), or really anything that might tell me what my next step is, but I can't find anything. Can anyone help me out? I'd like to know what color wire I'm looking for, where to find it, and if you happen to have a wiring diagram too that would be a huge help.

<---------- Please help me electrical forum, I'm chompin' at the bit to get my sweet new Hellas working!

Here's the link to my other thread about this:

Look on the fuse panel, there is a low amp fuse (like 5amp) that is marked "illum" or something like that.

It feeds the gauge cluster lamps, they come on with the parking lights.

There should be a fuse labeled "park" also that is for the parking lights.

Just use a test light to figure out if voltage comes on and off with the lights.

Just use one of those feeds to trip your relay and your good to go!

Yea, I've thought about tapping into the fuse box, but I'd rather not have my fuse box cluttered with wires running all over the place and such. It's kind ghetto that way. I know I'm still just a college kid, but I know enough about cars to rather spend the extra effort and dig around a little bit more and not have my fuse box look like this....

Here we are... I don't want my fuse box to look like this. (Sorry for the countdown. I had to get to my 25 posts so I could post pics)

Then I suggest you tap into one of the illumination wires in the dash. They are usually orange, but may be different on your Jeep.

Find ANY interior light that is controlled with the parking lights and tap into it...
