Old ZJ'er Back With a New Ride!

Just wanted to say hey to everyone on the forum. I used to own a lifted '96 ZJ that I wheeled for years. I was on JF everyday and I went by the name "Matt Felner" in case any of you guys (Hunter, ArloGuthro, Phil) are still around. Anyway I sold the ZJ to a guy on the forum, bought an Audi, and now I'm coming back to the Jeep world as I'm picking up an '02 WJ next week. The Audi exploded along I-80 in PA last month so needless to say that's my last encounter with a German car. Very excited to be back in the saddle of a Grand.

Here are some pics of my last ZJ:

I'll post the WJ that I'm getting once I take some pictures. Hope everyone's doing well and if any of you are from Fairfield, CT or Miami University in Oxford, OH give me a shout we'll get together.

Matt F.

Here's the picture of my new WJ, I'll get some more once I have my real camera. Anyway, it's an '02 Limited V8 fully loaded. Thing drives great, looks sharp, and has a ton of power. Since I'm on the road a lot I'm probably going to wait to start modding it but regardless it's awesome to be back in the Jeep saddle.

One question - Everytime I get out of the Jeep the driver seat automatically moves back and often times fails to reset to the original position. The mirrors also automatically adjust and even when I hit the preset button they don't go to where I had them. Is there a way to disable this feature altogether and just keep the seat and mirrors the same all the time?

Thanks a lot
-Matt

Welcome back. It seems to me that nobody leaves Jeeps forever.

2001 Audi A4 1.8T 5 Speed. Loved the car but the timing chain went on my ride back home last month - needless to say the pistons and the head became close friends pretty quickly.

Thanks for the welcome, just drove the WJ 800 miles back to Ohio yesterday and she was great. Love that V8 and got 20.2 MPG.
