Napa solutions or Echlin from Napa.

your suggestion has gone into my 'notes' for future reference .

We need to share these brands names as OEM parts 'dry' up for older jeeps.

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

I literally just bought a Mopar one for my '00 XJ in January of this year.
From Amazon. Part number 4897023AA.
Best I can tell it is the same one that a WJ would use.
I went back on Amazon and sure enough. N/A.
This is the whole reason that I have been sourcing Mopar sensors for "stock".
List to date includes both crankshaft and camshaft sensors, IAC, MAP, oil, temp, and TPS.
I figure O2 sensors are not a problem cause we use NTK's.
Which I did when I replaced all mine about 7 years ago.
I feel bad for you but I am so glad that my OCD causes me to do stuff like this.
Hell I even bought that little rubber elbow that connects the MAP sensor to the throttle body.
I have buddy who lives in Norway with an '00 XJ.
Mopar parts seem to be harder to find over there.
He seems to think that NTK would be factory for that part. So he bought one.
Pretty sure the part number is NTK EC0160.
Now I am guessing he installed it and all is fine cause I have not heard him say anything about it since so.....
As far auto part stores go I would go with Napa. Of course I work at one so..... LOL.
Napa has 2 lines. MPE and Echlin. Part numbers are the same but the MPE line ones have the letters SB at the end.
IMO you use the Echlin ones.

I started poking around more. Came across this:

https://www.stockwiseauto.com/mopar-...nd%20Cherokee&

Never heard of the place, even though they say it is a Mopar one I wonder, and even though they do say they have it I wonder if they really do.
Happens a lot with online Mopar retailers I come to find out.
Looking for a part, find a place that says they have it, order it, your card gets whacked, then you get the SOL email saying they don't, and it takes a week to see the refund.

That link says they have zero in stock. There is a possibility another dealer has old stock sitting on their shelf (which is why it says there are 4 in US "warehouse"), but it's most likely inventory errors on those other dealerships.
Never order a known discontinued part from any of those sites without calling them and having them actually lay their hands on the part.

My mistake. Could have sworn it said they had one.
