thnx for the help didnt think about the cooler but if the fluid all drained liek a month ago should i still do the flush

Yes, I agree just R&R with a known good unit and back to motoring with the least amount of trouble. Flush out the cooler and lines real good.
if th efluid drained all out a month ago should i still flush the cooler and lines

I'd at least hit it with some compressed air to blow out any old fluid in there, then I'd use a bug sprayer and flow acetone through it, then hit it with compressed air again. Good to go. Not a big deal.
