Tbi and new style PCM

I am winding if I can use a newer style PCM instead of a ECU for the Chevy tbi swap? I know that some people on other vehicle use the PCM to upgrade there ECU to give more control or tuning in just wondering if I can use a pcm to run the tbi in the junkyard swap

You really should post this in the appropriate tech forum that matches your model. This is the picture request forum, you won't find your answers here.
And when you do post in the right forum, you need to include more info in your post. Like what kind of vehicle you're working on and exactly what you're trying to do.
