Spider gears question

My question is, will spider gears from my 3.54 and down carrier fit into a 3.73 and up carrier when I regear?

I'm planning to regear the dana 30 in my jeep to 4.56 from 3.07.

I suggest you find a parts manual for your jeep model (you didn't post year or model). I know one of my Facebook groups has exploded diagrams with part numbers for every single part on a CJ7, something like this would help i suppose. http://www.jeeptech.com/axle/d30.html

Yes
Unless you have a LS/locker as one of the carriers.

The answer to your question is:

Yes
You can swap the internals from open carrier to open carrier.

When I regeared my CJ-5 from 3.54 to 4.10, I used a D30 carrier from a YJ that had 4.10 gears. Used my old spiders and side gears. No problems.
