PCM

Hey guys. Did a search, didn't find anything current.

I drive a 2005 LJ, 132,000 miles.

Having PCM issues. Chased various gremlins and replaced the coil pack, sensors, plugs, check connections. Still misbehaving. Stalling, misfiring, flashing Check Engine.

Spent the past few days looking for a replacement. None of the aftermarket companies get good reviews. Just hung up with the dealership - one month back order, $940 plus programing. Ouch.

Does anyone have a source or idea?

Thanks

If you're confident replacing the PCM is the route to go, Wranglerfix.com seems to have made a good reputation with their new manufacture '05-'06 PCM.

Do you have a scanner?
What codes?
gremlins? Misbehaving?

Jeep powertrain is STOCK no BS - proms, tuners, chips, miracle magnets, modifications, or use of aftermarket marvels?

When I see the price of OEM I think aftermarket.
When I see the quality of aftermarket I think OEM.

Sorry for delay - power out on Long Island in my area since Tuesday.

Mechanic friend has it. Was spitting out misfire codes, I don't know the specific. First changed coil pack, plugs. Stalling, misfire worsened. Crank sensor change. Problem kept worsening.

Dealership wants 940 plus 150 to program. Wrangler fix 1100 for plug and play.
