Jeep WJ Overheating 4.0L

So a couple months back, my dad put some of that quick leak fix stuff in my coolant because it was leaking, a week later is started really consuming it.

So I took it to my Auto class at school and they put a new thermostat and flushing the coolant in the tank not the radiator which I don't know why, but thats what they did. Ran fine for a week, started getting after it again at my buddy's house.. and boom coolant was spraying out under the engine and it was squirting this WD40-like stuff from where the thermostat is.... I took it home ASAP.

My Father said to park it, so I did. So, when he got to my house we opened up the radiator cap and there was this brown stuff on the sides of the tank, which my buddy said there was coolant mixing in with the oil some how.. so we revved the throttle body a bit and it broke a lot of that stuff out of the radiator, and sprayed the engine down with Zep automotive degreaser. Seems to be okay right now, getting auto to check it out again. But, now I am hearing a hissing sound near the intake manifold and noticed a small slow drip of oil under it. My dad said no more hotrodding with it just drive it until you get them money to pop in another motor.

Thanks a bunch!

flush the whole system and replace the radiator. if the sludge comes back, itll be a head gasket. replace the water pump while your doing it.

where exactly was it originally leaking from?
