231s are hit or miss but I thought all 241s had them. And there are plenty of reports of them being unhappy when removed.

Assuming you have a Rubicon based on your profile showing front and rear Dana 44 axles, your transfer case would be a NP241OR, not a NP241J. The Jeep parts catalog lists the part you want as simply "YOKE, Transfer Case Output", part number 05093604AA. Unfortunately it appears to be a discontinued part.

Funny, the older 241 Chevy and Dodge 241 never used them. Even the Dodge 241 from the 1980's that had the first SYE on them ( in fact that's what all the after market SYE's where based off of, the 241 Dodge ) they didn't have them. Never had an issue with those case's, must be something about the Jeep driveshaft being shorter maybe.

And on the 8th day, God created the 14 bolt...

.They said the harmonics or frequency between the tcase and the stock Belly pan were the same ,so dampner was installed to cancel out vibes ALSO ,for all info so far ,they all say NP241J non have NP241OR stamped on the red and silver tag . It may be listed as NP241OR ,but it's just a np241 with 4:1 ratio for Rubicon at bottom of tag ,standard jk cases say NP241J and ratio says 272 at bottom of tag .

Think I found my vibe problem.. so far the vib dampner seems to have been removed by the PO then a 1310 tcase yoke installed ,double cardan cv shaft then 1330 u-joint at the pinion yoke . IVE FOUND the 03 Wrangler Tj uses 1310 ujoints on driveshafts ,03 Wrangler Tj Rubicon uses 1330 ujoints all RUBICON DC driveshafts come with a round companion flange that mounts to the dampner ,which was removed ,so I found one at advanced adapter ,or tom woods says he has one .i still don't know if the Rubicon double Cardin drive shafts have the 1310 or the 1330 in the h-block on the site it says that it's the 1330 at the pinion. I would like to reinstall the mass vib dampner if I can find one ,last Dc driveshaft was only 2 years old .dont know if any of this is ok ,but that's what I've found .anyone running a round flange type yoke, from tom woods?
