AX15 Trans Reverse issues

Hoping someone can help me understand what’s going on with my trans. I’m familiar with the grinding that occurs when shifting Into reverse directly from neutral without letting the input shaft spin down but starting today it seems as though my trans isn’t spinning down when I disengage the clutch. Weirder still, while stopped I can go between any of the forward gears without issue but no matter how long I wait or what gears I engage prior there is always grinding while shifting into reverse. Even if I shift into reverse, then to neutral and back into reverse again without engaging the clutch I’m still grinding gears. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to ask for clarification, I may not have worded this completely clearly.

That trans uses ATF or synchromesh oil ? when was that last changed, i know my Getrag is pretty picky on oil for shifting.
Any additives people are using that helps ?

These don't have a rep for the reverse shift arm bracket coming loose inside the trans by any chance do they ?
