5.2 magnum to ax15 in jeep tj

I just bought a 2001 dodge ram 5.2 complete engine (the ram was an auto trans) with the computer and harness and everything. Is there any changes/modifications i will have to do to make the 5.2 work on the 5 speed ax15?

What is your plan for bell housing, flywheel and clutch setup? You can't use the automatic bell housing off the 5.2, or the bell housing or clutch from the 4.0.
The AX15 was never mated to the Mopar 5.2, so there's no easy salvage yard solution. I know Novak makes conversion kits for GM engines, but not the Magnums.

You could possibly use the bell housing and flywheel off a 5.2 Dakota manual, but would need to have an adapter made and figure out a clutch setup.

Thank you for your input. I was going to use a dakota bellhousing, but u wasnt sure what clutch/flywheel i could use, would a dakota flywheel/clutch work? Since the 5.2 v8 is the 3.9 but without 2 extra cylinders

I know it's an older thread but the 94-99 Dakota 3.9 manual bellhousing with the clutch kit and flywheel for a 2nd gen RAM 1500 (94-01) 5.2. Luk LFW375 & Luk 05-074 for example.
