4Spd Transmission ID

I'm really stumped, I bought what I thought was a T-176 from a guy on Kijiji (Canada), Notice when I got home that the input shaft was worn where the pilot bushing sits, no big deal.. disassembled it to take it out and inspect the rest. but for some weird reason, the input shaft that i was going to order is a 20 teeth, but mine is a 24 teeth. So I looked further. The riveted tag on the side is to rusty do figure out any numbers but the casting numbers seem to correspond, I've counted every gear teeth and this is what I got,

Gear Cluster 37-40-26-15 (33-26-24-15 is the specs for T176 part number)
1st 32 (same as T176 part number)
2nd 31 (33 Teeth for T176 part number)
3rd 21 (23 Teeth for T176 part number)

The only gear that matches t-176 parts is the first gear??? I've even checked gears from T-177 and T-178 and nothing seems to match! I am so lost.. I posting a bunch of pics to see if anybody can help me ID this tranny,

The gears seem to match up to a Ford Toploader 3spd with overdrive.

This transmission is also known as the Tremec T-170, HEH, or RUG depending on the year(s) of production.
I'm thinking it's a T170 but I could be wrong.

I'm a little confused about it as I can't find any Tremec transmission that had a 24spline input shaft.
