1990 2.5 carb. convert to 4.0 fuel inj.

I have a 1990 yj 2.5 carburated. I want to put the fuel inj.4.0 out of a 1995 in the 1990 will it work ?

a 90 yj 2.5 is a TBI, not a carburetor. no it wont work.

Yes, you can swap out the '90 four cylinder for a 4.0L from a '95. No, it's not a simple one for one swap. Reading up on the numerous swap threads in the Wrangler section will give you a good idea of all that is involved, such as moving engine mounts, upgrading the transmission, and getting the electrical harnesses incorporated.
