1980 Cj7 oil pressure problem

I've got an original AMC 258 engine and I believe the valve vents are clogged because oil sprays from the dipstick port while its running, any good ideas on how to unclog these decently easily? also if anyone knows where to find a good valve cover replacement mine has needed to be swapped out for a long time but aftermarket ones never seem to fit right

First thing to check is the PCV system. A picture of your existing system may shed light on the subject.

Do a search and you will find tons of threads on the subject.

You need to run a compresion and leakdown test. Oil out the dipstick tube on a 258 is normally caused by excessive blowby.
