Mines speed limited to ~95mph. :/ Seems fairly stable and smooth too surprisingly, probably has some more in it I'm sure...

Highest speed I've done in a jeep was 80.
Highest speed I was ticketed for was 138mph in a 78 mustang 2. one of those cars you could claim was 'stock' because it had all factory ford parts, they just never came together from the dealer.

Not sure it will power through unmarked territory

Not sure what my top speed is. The highest known recorded is 103mph in 1/4 mile at 6500 rpm in third gear.
It now has a lot more power with the 427 and I expect it will do 100 mph in an 1/8 mile. I plan to find out this summer.
In the sand my best time with new engine is 4.76 at 69 mph in 300’

Saw this and wondered 'Why'? I would want to know...because, I don't, and don't want to go find out...mostly because that would be pretty spectacular to survive and not self-destruct from wind-pressure...but it'll be north of 112 mph, would be my guess.

My Cherokee has been 162.4 mph in the standing 1/2 mile and still pulling. Also 140.4 mph in the 1/4 mile on a prepped track.

Jeff88 and KWIKCJ5 like this.

I got mine almost to 60 once, still not sure how that happened. I must have been out of my mind.

Fastest my Jeep has gone since I've owned it was 35. Of course it did it hands free, foot free, and even driver free!

Tow truck driver was a slow one that day...
