I do 85+ regularly on the highway, as long as you keep your tires properly inflated, steering checked and don't make rapid movements, I can't tell between 65-85 feel wise. Noise on the other hand... I want a hard top!

I have probably hit 85 as a test I think it was, just recently after finish the install of my Currie steering. The Jeep feels fine at that speed. However, unlike some, I kid myself not, a Jeep is dangerous at that speed. I rarely exceed 60 MPH even on a longer trip. There is no percentages in going faster, it eats fuel and increases wear and tear and is dangerous in a Jeep Wrangler both to myself and the other PEOPLE on the roadways and to the Jeep.

I've got a waggy dana 44 under the front of my 01 TJ with inv. t steering and it sucks. Round about how much do you have in your Currie steering setup?

This is so true I have a buddy who does this all the time. Says he's getting 25 in his f250 pulling 13k. I'm sitting here in my 2500hd happy getting 11 pulling 10k haha

I've hit 95 on the highway going down a slight hill. Some shaking but nothing too scary for me as long as I stay in a straight line.

My 2500HD got 10 city, 10 highway, 10 loaded and 10 unloaded, if anything you can commend them for being consistent.

Haha my max is also 95 but felt surprisingly stable. No vibrating or shaking, just the scream of the engine at 3500 rpms. Was cruising at 95 for couple miles till my exit it was so smooth (with the hard top and hard doors on of course)

95 mph measured by GPS. Speedo showed about 110.

Definitely got her over 90 a couple times, on stock GSA's, manual 6sp. Always ran pretty smooth at 80, but I tend to keep it under 70, and usually 60-65.

You might have damaged the sending unit while removing the filter. It's easy to do...also this isn't the correct section to ask tech questions

Hit the limiter at 118 MPH, but would have kept going.
