Lllneed advice on making a 32rh engine brake like a manual

I have a 01 tj with 4.0 and 89 32rh. I want to be able to use my engine and gearing when traveling down steep hills to go slow instead of using my breaks. In the same manner you can use a manual transmission. Is this possible and how/what is needed? I've searched and I've been reading for days. But I can't find the specifics of what needs to be done. What needs to be purchased and installed. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I think it could be possible if you install a switch for the lock up converter. But you will have to release the switch or when slowing down(to stop) you could stall the motor.

ok. Thanks. Is it possible to install this switch with a 32rh from.a 87 yj that has no electronics? Or do I need to find a newer version to do this?
