White steel wheels on white Cherokee xj?

Would white steel wheels on a white Cherokee look stupid? I am a gal and plan on putting for now just the max size tires I can on it stock 235/75/15 8" wheel and want different wheels I see 95% black steel and wondering if white steel might change it up some and look Ok? Anyone have any pics of this set up?

Can't say about on a Jeep,,,but back in the 70's white wagon wheels were the rage on pickups. I still think they look good.

I had a set of white wagon wheels on my YJ for a while. And I wasn't even alive in the 70's... Regardless, I think it could look decent. Make sure you go white letters out on the tires too!

Oh I def would do white letters out. I am a big fan of white letters out! Another question! If I go stock will a 15"x8" wheel with 4" backspace with 235/75 tires work?

It should, yes. Trying to picture if that tire would look funny on a 8" wide rim. I believe all the stock wheels were 7" wide. You might be able to go with a 30x9.5R15 tire and it would fit the wheel a little better. Depending on how healthy your stock suspension is though, they may rub.

This jeep is coming in at my dads lot and I work for him so I am going to keep for my husband and I to ride around and I just want it to have a more aggressive look. Its a 99 SE but has the 4.0, auto, 95k miles, I am sure the suspension may be sort of in between. A company previously owned the Jeep. So should I go with a 7" wheel instead?

Ya, and half of those million are solid black rims that look like donuts from a Hondas trunk.
