its funny how the newer ones have more breakage issues.

my 86, 88, 90 never broke one bolt... the 86 and 88 XJ's where from colorado where they salt and get rusty.

i would be willing to bet they switched supplier of bolts or the bolts some how changed in materials or coating causing them to rust and gaul like a mofo

Garage
Replaced my exhaust tail piece that rusted off 8 inches past the muffler then found out the muffler is rusted out on the top. FML
wrapped it with exhaust tape for a temp fix.

Just picked it up... better condition than the one I have on there now! And, the best part, perfect color match. Vents will go in probably in the next few weeks, good ole Lebaron Vents. I am painting them to match the hood, red red red.

I will post up pics of the install, I have a "plan" for the drip pans I am going to fab up (maybe).

Oh and when I was there, I was chatting to the guy, and his 95 parts beater he just bought (lucky guy) had a newly installed 6" lift and NEW BFG MT KM2's on D Windows. He paid...get this, like $700 for it. Motor was out of a 2001 with only like 150K on it, 5 speed, transfer case drive shafts all mint. Anyways, he sold me a NEW set of 1-2" lift shackles for $25.00. All in all a good score for him and a sweet deal for me.

I was first set on getting a 3.5" RE lift but now I'm saving up for the RC 3" or 4.5" kit.
I heard from someone at RC that their leafs are now manufactured in Canada? I cant remember where, but it was in this forum? I believe it was in the Long Arm topic?

Yay Ontario Steel!

It looks amazing, but I just don't have that kind of $$ for a bumper I think I'll probably end up with one from Nate's that is on sale

i added a fire extinguisher, reomoved the sub that was in the rear passenger side in the back (more room for stuff now), thawed it out in the shop, tried to mount my cb but i need longer selftapping screws, and spayed the inside of my tb with carbcleaner, then wd40 while it was running. i like the sound of that whistle.

Got it running smooth today, a few of my injectors where not firing last night when i started it up.
So i got it cleaned and all 6 are working, it idles much quieter and smother then before. I can actually hear the injectors ticking away instead of the exhaust.

Here is a video of when cyl # 1 would not fire:

here it is running smooth with all 6 injectors:

Cleaned up my hoses for the OBA and changed how the filter works for it.

So webdog, how do the 3 fans do? I have 2 stock fans and 1 aftermarket and thought about making the change. Are those stock fans or all aftermarket?
