Just got 2001 Cherokee sport (Clean Green) yesterday first looked it over then got it DUSTY to dry for mud around here right now, today I drove past a cop about 4 times at different speeds to test my speedo no tickets (it might have helped I was on the phone with him and he was clocking me so I knew where my speedo was) adjusted the headlights (they were pointed at the ground about 12ft in front of the jeep).

Nothing special today I did notice the almost local car wash now has an under belly sprayer on wheels so had to go wash off the dust and see if I could clean it up under there works pretty good (the things we come up with to drive a new jeep). Almost forgot it got 3 new wipers and a locking gas cap all the fluids checked again and topped off and went on the hunt for my fog light issue.

Lot's of goodies rolling in. I just paid off my last child support payment of my life. Twenty years later. Now it's time to build my Jeep. Ordered 3 inch Zone lift, Rough Country extended brake lines, Rough Country rear bar pin flag nuts for rear shocks, Rough Country Front sway bar Quick Disconnects, Rough Country Adjustable track bar, Rough Country Steering stabilizer, New bushing kit for all my sway bars, new radiator and hoses. Not sure what will be next. I
m thinking 31's BFG Mud terrains and ball joints, tie rod ends. Gotta fix a little death wobble soon too.

Do you have a spare set of lines available? I'm from the UK btw but currently in Ireland for the year.
I do remember the sorry state of yours from original piccies - but still surprised. I pulled the lines off my parts XJ in preparation for pulling the trans, so they are, literally, laying around. One's been modified because the quick release connection at the rad. didn't! otherwise, as I recall, they're quite sound but will have a good look over the w/e. Usually get over to the Emerald Isle at least once a year, although that's to the Republic - & I get the impression you're in NI, but not this year, in any event &, as I said, they're not easy things to post - which is why I asked where you were. Still we can worry about that later

Got the new headlights today (Rampage H4) and I can finally see down the road and got the fogs working those help also.
Then I spent a couple hours with a flashlight just going over everything.

So I decided to use the Eastwood Internal Frame Coating in the tubes of the hitch.
Cause I had it lying around.
Spayed in there without the wand, let it run down the sides, and puddle up at the bottom.
Figure give the puddle at the bottom a bit to work its way into any crevices and whatnot.
Hit it with the wand to insure coverage, hung it upside down, and let the excess drip out.
Do the same with the other side after the paint dries for a bit.
And don't worry.
I will not forget to post that exciting shot of POR 15 drying as promised when I get to that part. LOL.

As promised.
Another exciting shot of POR 15 drying. LOL.
I just hit the problem areas and dry brushed a bunch more of it.
Figure the hitch will be 2 different shades of black but don't care.

Artistic license .

Goes around,comes around .
4WD gets one farther from help before getting stuck/breaking down.
