Yeah I wished I had known about the DEI heat shield kit when I upgraded to 4 hole injectors.
I do not seem to have any heat soak problems but had I known about the kit would have done it anyway.

So I figured I would finish the subwoofer refoaming today.
You glue the new foam to the paper cone first and let it set for about an hour.

So I glued the outer part of the foam down. Got a little sloppy in a couple small places.
Shouldn't effect anything though.
Also a shot of it put back together.
Seeing if it works will wait till another day though. LOL.

Yeah huh. LOL.
I had to refoam the front 2 Infinity System speakers I picked up awhile back also.
The rears were fine though.
The cool thing, kind of why I decided to try my hand at it, was the refoam kits
were speaker specific. The front speaker refoam kits were sourced from one
place and specifically for those speakers. Same with the subwoofer kit sourced
from a different one.

The first of the new rims is on just to get it out on the trail. I'm going to run it hard this weekend. Almost rolled it in this spot 3 times lol.

Talking Not what I done but what I want to

I want to start working on my 1999 Cherokee xj, what can I do to the OEM wheels to improve or what did you replace with.
Keep in mind its a 2 wheel drive without a lift.
Thanks, Rick

I finally got my terraflex rear disc brake conversion installed. It came without the new rear emergency brake cables and it took almost 3 weeks to get them after a lost order, then only 1 side and then a wrong one shipped before I finally got the 2 correct cables. I noticed better braking right away but have not had it on the trail yet.

30x9.5R15 tires are the biggest you can fit without a lift. Something aggressive like a BF Goodrich All-Terrain would look good on the stock wheels.

Got the passenger side leaf spring in place.... that was a battle.

Will start the other side tomorrow. Thank God for good neighbors.
