A washer on the steering stops worked on my 99' to fix that problem (rubbing at full lock). A friend's Jeep with 33x10.50s and stock wheels. He didn't even have to trim the plastic up front.

Tire shops around here wouldn't ever mount them (liability issue). My new 8" wheels on my XJ were only $160 (4) with the center caps.
Where'd you get those wheels on the red wrangler? Also I got stock steelies and have no intention on keeping em, I guess I jumped the gun on these wheels but I'll take you're advise and get a new set.

I did an Ebay search for simulated beadlocks and went with the best (cheapest) deal. I had the same wheels in 8" on my 05' TJ. Pro Comp wheels. I got my XJ steel wheels at Quadratec for $39.95 each last year. I went with black satin instead of my usual gloss black.

I run a 13.5 on 8 widescreen and run them at like 4.5 to 6 psi. I have taped the beads and just send it.

Yesterday I fixed my fuel gauge (broken wire infront of fuel tank) fixed my oil pressure gauge (had to change the sending unit for a gauge style cluster in place of a dummy light) new front pads, and an oil change. Then just got a new set of wheels ordered that should get here just in time for the lift to be done.

You can't bounce one off the rev limiter with the crank pointed at sky and hope it lives. The 4.8 you can.

Be curious to hear how you like those general grabbers when you get some miles on them. Think I'll be going to something more aggressive when my current set or tires is retired. More aggressive on both rigs, my Sierra and the XJ.
