Could someone break down the pros/cons of a 3 link vs a 4 link. I could get either option for the same price.

From what I've gathered in info over the years, 3 link is far more flex-capable but also more money in the front shocks and far more prone to breaking things.

A 4 link is worthless for the strength gain you get compared to a 3 link. If you are buying prebuilt iro is the bare minimum I'd run.

Yeah iro just released their 3 or 4 link kits with a 3 piece cross member. I was looking at which one would be best

I got that cavfab alpha series 3 link it has a center removable crossmember I'm very happy with it. Black Friday 2 years ago it was under $1,000 now you need to sell a kidney

Hunter pm me

I built my crossmember to go through the floor 10/10 would do again.

Colin and a mutual friend plasma cut tabs for me and I did the welding. Its solid as hell and has 7 inches of separation at the frame side. Something I do not like about any of the kits on the market is that they seem to have 2-4 inches of separation at the frame side and that contributes to the anti squat being higher iirc

Was going to check out this XJ on 40s. Not sure the owner's claims are accurate though.

Disadvantage of a 4 link front (with trackbar) is you have to pay for an extra link and two more joints for basically no gain in strength. Properly built 3 link is plenty strong and won’t bind. You can achieve the same basic geometry. Both have better handling characteristics than a radius arm setup. I personally built a 3 link for my setup based on the Clayton crossmember and have been very happy with it. I did not cut a hole in my floor for more frame side separation and honestly the Jeep drives really well. If you have any questions or want to see pics or anything you can text or pm me.

So more October/Winter maintenece.
The underside of the Jeep is now all nice and shiny. Well as nice and shiny as she will get.
I love my little powerwasher but the one thing I never liked is how the container is set up to use a cleaner.
Thinking this is the same set up with most home versions.
Awhile back somebody posted that the cheapo $15 paint sprayer at Harbor Freight can be used to apply Fluid Film.
So I grabbed one. Never got a chance to try it because I ended up buying a bigger boy compressor and the Fluid Film gun kit.
So it occured to me to use it to apply Purple Power and then just hose it off with the pressure washer.
Seemed to work pretty good for it.
So going to blow off as much water as I can off with my compressor and hopefully everything will be dry so I can apply Fluid Film tomorrow.

Thank you.
I try.
Just got done blowing off the underside.
So hoping tomorrow she will be nice and dry for the Fluid Filming.
Then get the exterior detailed next at some point.
I say the same thing every year about this time.
With any luck after I detail the exterior I won't be touching the Jeep again till Spring.
Knock on wood and all that. LOL.
