Hell I'm dailying mine at 5.5 on short arms. Flexs just fine. Drop brackets at 4" will definitely improve the ride quality though blue

That's the main goal. She'll never be a caddy but I'll take a pile of small improvements given I do a couple hours + a day in the thing with my commute.

I actually really like my JK rubi shocks up front, they were a big improvement over the crap i had experimented with before, but I do need to do something else in the back.

I've heard exploder shocks work pretty well. Like 95-98 ones

I've heard that too. My issue with the rubi ones is that I actually have to compress them quite a bit to bolt them up in the back and with the variable valving they're stiff as hell pre-compressed. I ended up sticking some ****ty rough country ones I had sitting around from my young-and-stupid lift back on just to save my teeth until I made up my mind.

Bilstiens and be done. My xj ran them for years with a comfortable ride on 3 inches of lift with short arms. My current setup rides like junk but that has to do with like 2 inches of up travel.

I measured mine again on level ground and I got 23" front and 22.5" rear. I used my TJ 4" lift coils up front because I was told they would lift an XJ 2".

I keep telling you guys. I probably stalk Craigslist and Ebay like nobody else. MLOL.

Hey your not selling the headlight harness with that?
Are you?
I used the harness. I'm trying to get rid of my extra parts. Mostly TJ stuff.

I ran my exhaust exactly like that for almost 2 years with no issues. I also don't drive mine in the winter though, so windows closed wasn't really a thing unless it was raining, and then I typically don't drive the Jeep anyway.

I will say that the noise got pretty annoying after a while. I ended up building a side pipe but now my fiance complains every time we drive past a guard rail or a fence or under a bridge. I think I'm going to end up trying to figure out how to fit a tail pipe back under it.

Just order some bilsteins off amazon. The prices there are pretty good and the ride is great for that price point. I've been running bilsteins in the front of my Jeep for years now and just put them in the rear. I really like them.

Running with 30s looks like the XJ skipped leg day. I had planned on moving up to 31s but with getting more lift than originally anticipated I wonder if 32s might be a better fit? Planning to cut and fold the rear quarters due to rust anyway...

Are you planning to keep the fender flares? If not, the options are almost limitless. If you want to keep them, just keep in mind you may have to trim the rear of the front flare to keep it from rubbing.
