My new Rugged Ridge floor mats arrived today..

Loving them..custom fit... and as much as I spill coffee in my Jeep, these will be handy.. also with snow in the winter..

I've had those in a few Jeeps. Work great. I've got weathertech right now but that's only because I scored them from a Jeep Forum member who sold them to me for cheap from a Jeep he was getting rid of.

I own the same mats and like them. Scored front, back, and cargo brand new for $145 about 5 years ago.
I don't know if you will care or not.
But the logos are secured with what I call speed nuts from the bottom.
They will rust a little.
I put some duct tape on them to hopefully keep them from leaving rust stains on my carpet in my '00.

If you really want to improve handling, poly swaybar bushings and a heavy duty swaybar. Makes taking corners way better and it's a pretty cheap upgrade.

Somewhat regretfully , we traded the '95 Country in on a '04 GMC Envoy SLT .
I never found the '98 XJ I wanted .
So , from a steadily rusting and becoming unsafe for the road XJ Country , we now have one of these :

In that^ color . Very comfy ride and ready for cross country travels .

Our XJ didn't owe us a train flattened penny . We bought it for $1800 , drove it for 45,000 miles and rec'd 500 bucks on trade in . That's a bit less than 2.9 cents a mile . Pretty hard to top that .

I'll lurk this forum and maybe even comment , occasionally , because I like seeing what you guys do .

1995 Cherokee Country . Gone , but , not forgotten .

Goes around , comes around .

Good to know you'll be around. It's getting pretty quiet around here.

Seems that's the trend . Slowly over the years , it has been 'less active' .

There's not a lot of questions to ask about XJs at this point you can't answer on google. Fewer people are building them, fewer things to experiment with since it's all be done, etc...etc...etc...

Plus a bunch of guys like me with stable builds and nothing to report or ask about.

Mine is finally under way, but still can’t show pics. My Frankenstein Amazon/Craigslist/Facebook Marketplace lift kit raises my XJ exponentially higher than I ever anticipated. Sort of concerned that some of the components (shocks, LCA) aren’t up to the height. Looking for any input on Patriot seats being made to fit in an XJ.

So , it becomes a place for old farts to stop in and make sure nothing is happening ?

What did you do to your XJ/MJ today?

The 4.10 LSD 8.8 Rear I was going to grab got snatched up before I could get it. But scored a deal on some front glass from the yard. Will paint and install down the road maybe once I do a new bumper itíll all go on together.
