Yes and it's still close when turning. That's the part I want to make look better. It wasn't drivable without the trimming. I barely got out of the tire shop parking lot while trying to turn. Strange thing is, I drove another XJ I was going to buy and he had no trimming and no rubbing??? Same lift and tire combo too.

I would guess its the position of your control arms. Unless is was an early model, the wheel wells are bigger on the old ones.
I've adjustables top and bottom, with everything pushed slightly forward. That could be what saves me from having any rear rubbing. 《《Haha

Push the front axle forward and you dont even have to worry about the pinch seam. Im on 35s with 5 if lift and I didnt have to touch the punch seam at all. My old Jeep on 33s I pushed the foot well back and it still rubbed. That was on stock control arms and 1.5 though.

First ever Jeep wave returned in 12 years in UK.

Got my first ever Jeep wave returned from a dude in a 93/94 Wrangler, was a big buzz. Only took 12 years but most of those years my '89 XJ was parked.

Be thankful. I parked my TJ because I had to wave 50 times a day. I even had to wave with it parked.

Got some new shoes!

Also, anyone got an idea what canyon wheels go for these days?

They were so plentiful, I'd guess they should be easy to find in sets for $100-300. I saw a set here on the classifieds for the $100 low I put on the estimation. Another set came up a week later for $200

Hacking up a clean 2 door feels good man.

Disregard the bomb going off in the shop in the middle of painting and getting in tons of boxes so.it looks like ****.

Oh sweet. I'm selling my old set so I'll price them about 200

Not Canyons, but I sold my old Ecco wheels for $125 in 2 days not long ago. I just wanted a quick sale since my new satin black wheels only cost $160.

With ZJ's pretty much falling out of the luxury category, they are as popular to mod as XJ's. The sets of wheels sold here were the same circumstance. New rims and tires, and no desire to store the old ones.

Say it ain't so! How about WJ's? I knew I should have kept my heavy beast, lifted 4.7L QuadraDrive. I loved the power, but the engine blew a few months after selling it.

What's the best tool to cut clean lines on the fenders? I want to cut mine, but see way too many hack jobs that look like a 12 year old did them with a chainsaw and a dull blade.

An angle grinder, paint pen and nicotine. Oh add patience to that list.
