One refreshed power seat base and attached to the seat. Still have to attach the seat belt part. Going to use mine cause it is probably less scuffed up then the two I have and I know the sensor thing works in that one. Maybe tomorrow I will put them all in. Really do not want to because I want to gut the interior and do some housekeeping. Don't want to pull my old ones, put in these, just to pull them again. But I have no idea when I will get to that and since I have been working on these seats off and on for awhile thinking I should enjoy some of the fruits of my labor.

What did you do to your XJ/MJ today?

Felt like a typical XJ owner today. My tools of choice were a sawzall, angle grinder, and a die grinder. Got one rear quarter panel chipped and one wheel well opened up for the bigger tire's so I can keep the Jeep relatively low. Opted for the cut and weld method rather than the cut and fold. Looks like I'll have plenty of room. Keep in mind the Jeep is stripped with no bumper, fuel tank, interior, drive train etc, so it's sitting higher than it will. Also haven't relocated the shackle yet so the angle is horrible.

Started like this.

Ended like this.

And this is with the new 35's.

Seats are in. Thought I was going to have to stare at them for a couple days to see if I liked them or not. Like them right off the bat. Lousy pictures, for the life of me I can't figure out how you guys take such good shots, but some before and after.

Thanks. Looks better in person. Again sorry for the crappy shots. Haven't had a power seat in quite some time. Going to take a bit to get it just right. Glad I am the only one who drives the Jeep. Don't you just hate when somebody moves your seat. LOL.

The Coverking Rhinohides. $320 for the front and the back. Shipped free. Bought them like last year during the holiday season. They were on sale and had a 20% off promo code.

Now you can put the rag covers over the Rhinos so the Rhinos will last longer .

Looks like you did a nice job on the seats , Ralph .

And hide my removable headrests? Never. LOL. I was going to talk to my upholstery guy about possibly having him redo them. Can only imagine what that would have cost. But you have to figure that I would have used seat covers either way. If I had them done to protect my investment. In this case to hide them. I did rehab and clean them the best I could to slow down the deterioration of them under the seat covers. Now if I can pull off putting the extra headrests I have in the back seat now we would be talking. But that is a next year project.

For those of you with the HD Offroad No Lift Shackle relocation brackets, @shooptube @bluejunior or anyone else, do you think there's enough room between the holes to weld a nut to the back of each one? I am thinking about ordering these for my shackle relocation vs making my own but with my rear stiffeners I doubt I will be able to get to the nut in the back with a wrench. If the nut was already welded in place, I wouldn't have to worry about it. Thoughts?
