This picture is factory vs 703, but the newer injectors should look the same with different connectors. hopefully it gives you an idea how to spot check.

So the top row is the factory? The ones on mine look like the top row. Ford had ones that look like both of them.

Started to get rid of some of the red "accents" the p.o. put on. Got 1 red pinstripe off per side and rattle canned the center covers black to match the rims. Looks a little better.

If you can't find any 784's. Find a 4.6l v8. You can get the same setup.

Assuming you are asking me. Hardly used any. It looks like there is a fair amount of ground glass on the cardboard but not really. That is from me trying to get the nozzle screwed in the gun just right so it would spray properly. I emptied back what was left in the gun into the blue container and gotta figure I have at least 3/4's of what I started with. I'm playing here. I realize despite my Porter and Cable being a decent size compressor it is really not for sandblasting. But I wanted to play. Out of the 3 self contained guns at Harbor Freight, ranging from $18 to $25, this one seemed to get the best reviews. 20% off coupon brought it down to $20. One guy in the reviews said he used the ground glass. Another said he used the walnut shells but did not say if he used course or fine. The ground glass was the smallest, cheapest quantity of media I could buy. Walnut shells were $23 to $25, depending on which one, for a 25lb bag. I don't mind spending a couple bucks but since I had no idea of how this would work out I was trying to keep it at a minimum. Today I am going to stop by the Napa and see if I can rig up a brake line and fitting to get inside the running board support. Which is what I really bought this to try and do. Can't speak on the longevity of the gun but so far so good.

Yes I was talking to you, that's awesome, thanks. I have no need for a large set up, but would like to have one on occasion, this sounds like the ticket.

Yeah, if the gun holds up for the smaller piece of occasional sandblasting this might the ticket. Time will tell.

So I just got back from Napa, figured out what I needed to attach a piece of brakeline to gun but not much faith in it working. As I stated before the gun is picky about how far you thread in the nozzle. This will not go in far enough but still have to try and see what happens. Also cause of the threads I found something that would screw into the gun, comfortably, and let me do what I want to try and do but it is not right. Little teflon tape and we will see.

Dirty jeep guy. I'm assuming you mean the ev6 style injectors on the later model crown vics. Not the older style from when the vics first got the 4.6 in them, am I correct?

No go on the sandblasting gun extension. Trying to figure out if there is something else I can do.
