Got my new second hand roof liner installed to day so now I have roof mounted speakers (used to have 6x9 sitting in the floor in back) and extra lighting. Stock I had one tiny light for the whole interior haha!

Well they are going on my set of 17's so if it doesn't work out I can always sell them as a mounted and balanced set.

They are going on JK Rubi 17's that I got for almost nothing and I got a screaming deal on the tires. I'm sure I could make my money back in a heartbeat. I'll have less than a grand into 5 brand new mounted and balanced 35x12.5R17's including the wheels.

Not too bad. I'm $1700 into my five 32's on 15's.

Anyone ever use a champion all aluminum 2 row radiator? My last patch worked but now I've got steam coming out of a different spot between the aluminum and plastic sections on the passenger side. It's also running 10-15 degrees hotter than usual so I need to get it sorted.

I'm reading threads and such, but I know you guys and always appreciate y'all's take.

It's cheaper than the MOPAR towing rad, and ditches the plastic tanks to boot. That said, the factory unit has stood up to more than 15 years of abuse and that's a hell of a review for the factory units.

I have a CSF full aluminum rad sitting in my garage that I found at the junkyard still in the box for $30. Debating on selling it or running it.

How many rows? I'm used to seeing csf come up talking about their brass/copper units and for various reasons I'm looking to stick to all aluminum or stock style alum/plastic.

Edit after further reading: csf's tanks are pressed in rather than tig'd like champion. Seems like a disadvantage?

I have a champion 3 core in my YJ but I didn't run it very long at all. Build quality seemed good and it didn't leak, but I can't speak for longevity at all.

Any input is good input, thanks Red.

Any problems fitting it up? The complaints I find on the champions seem to be mostly fitment stuff like filler neck length or the trans cooler threaded inserts

Nope, but I put it in with the stroker, I did an engine, transmission, transfer case, and rewired the entire vehicle and swapped dashes that weekend, the radiator was the least of my concerns, just threw it in so I could fire up the new engine. With everything going on, I don't really remember how the install went.
