Did some bulk cleaning under the Jeep today. Brake Clean and a bunch of rags. Figured to get the majority of the gunk off for hopefully preping and POR 15'ing underneath this weekend.

Dirty, shooptube suggested I ask if you could help me out. I'm looking for a blower switch connector. 1996 XJ. Mine melted and no one seems to carry this part.

Let me know thanks

I have used it in the past and am really sold on the stuff. Prep is key. If you have the body stripped off the frame then you will be able to do a good job because of the access you will have. It will be a little pricey. You do not have to sand off all the rust to clean metal, actually better you don't, you just want to get all the loose stuff off. I say use their Cleaner/Degreaser, even though I bet you could substitute something like Purple Power for that, and their Metal Prep. Also realize that POR 15 is UV light sensitive. So anything exposed to UV light will turn an ashy gray eventually. Will not loose any of its properties though. You can top coat it even though I never have because everything I do is not exposed to light. Some info on there website in the Q&A sections you might find insightful.
