I'd probably enter again (continuing my evil plan to garner enough sympathy votes to actually win...)

I suspect I'll keep losing until I do something about the roached clearcoat...

Found this just this morning. Of course it never occurred to me to google putting on an XJ bumper.

My thinking is today will just consist of taking bumper caps off and spraying down everything with PB Blaster for a couple days. Glad I am on vacation this week so I can keep going out there and doing that till I attempt the removal. Already figured on snapping stuff anyway. I'm good for that.
Hey that guy is near me!

Well theoretically I have purchased an extended idle switch. But this is the third time so I'm holding my breath until it's in my hands.

Can you figure out how the TJ Rubicon locker switches turn on only when the locker engages?

So I hit up the local junkyard to locate a tps for my buddies MJ with the renix. Couldn't find one. But I did find a 84-96 XJ with clean manual window doors. As well as a few 2 door xjs. But I found a 97-01 XJ with power heated leather seats. I took the switch and some harness. So I might get some in the future. It's neat how the seat switch goes in the ashtray.

Oh & my buddy started doing paint work on his MJ tonight. Yes it's 2wd & lowered.

Ignore my Ford Explorer shocks in front of it. They are going on the XJ. Fits perfectly for 6" of lift. And $20 a piece new for monroes with warranty.

long time no see. threads updated a little.

i rewelded the spiders. 5 years of hammering on them daily driving and then some hard wheeling trips popped them free. New rear axle seals, new brake shoes again because the ebrake killed them somehow over the last 5 years, i think i hung the cable at some point and didnt notice, plus they got wiped out by gear oil.

yay lifetime shoes

got the beat to death tires re balanced, tightened the belt. replaced the window my gdamn neighbor broke mowing and still hasnt paid for. (the junkyard gave me a factory tinted glass) one tinted window now.

I'm starting to show signs of boredom, so I decided to start cleaning up and painting the axles I took out.
I got the calipers polished up real nice.
