I used a couple files and removed the casting flaws on the calipers from my old axle. Idk if it'd help them breathe any better but it's worth doing imo.

The sad thing is I use the XJ for really dense stuff like that. The suspension on the Ranger bottoms out on stuff that barely squats the XJ

Too bad. I had mad respect for anyone that would drive a Miata around with 4 different colored wheels. Now it just looks ordinary. Lol

Passenger front wheel is bronze. Only reason on that is because I had to buy a brand new rim. The set of 4 I got had a bent wheel. I'll dip these one day. But winters coming & the Miata is going to be parked. Unless I take it sliding in the neighborhood.

What did you do to your XJ/MJ today?

Thinking I may need axle wedges. Seems like I'm chewing up my new u joints pretty quick, could be that I had to use an old cap and an old needle... Straightening out my DLa's couldn't hurt. Any advice or things to stay away from?
Could be that my front u joint is crapping out...

Gotta get a new shift linkage first. And some shocks. Or I'll end up running shock less lol. But the XJ is pretty close to ready. The YJ chassis should be done this weekend.
