That's a gross oversimplification but it should give you the general idea and I don't feel like typing it all out on a smart phone.

Here is my theory on the height priced CL junk. Some people price things correctly, and they sell really fast. The high priced junk sits forever therefor concentrating the number of stupid posts. When looking for something specific, I check often and make a deal and go asap.

And I see the forum has gotten even worse since I've been gone. I haven't logged in since May and now it's stuck with an even worse mobile site and won't let me revert back to the enhanced view or desktop view

Serious question for the Crown steering owners:
All the pics I've seen seems to show the tie rod coming forward to clear the diff, then the bend reaching rearward to come back to the knuckle. But with the fixed joint(that connects to the drag link) in proper position, my tierod seems to reach downward with the bend then reaching upward toward the knuckle. I haven't installed anything yet, just curious if this will all work itself out properly.

Some type of coloring comes to mind but it's been 30+ years since I've run a magnaflux machine and I'm sure there are new technologies.
