Tested out the bump stops today. A front stretch is definitely in order. Looking under the Jeep, it looks like I could probably go as much as an inch, but no more, without making any big changes. More than that and I need a different track bar and probably would want to think about moving my coil pads back on the front axle so the bump stop would still hit the hockey pucks. On the plus side though, what I have is working really well so far. Climbed up with ease with 30 psi in the tires and the rear has lots of room still. Guess I gotta find something bigger to climb on.

Just the cost of the motor itself. Obviously the older tech is less costly. You can pick up a 350 for a few hundred bucks, plus with a carb you're not dealing with all the computers, sensors, ect.

****, go price out a new 350 vs a new LS or even remans. LS remans are 2-3x what a factory new 350 costs. Not surprising, LS swaps are incredibly popular and since they came out 350s aren't as in demand. I just checked my local clist, under $1000 I stopped counting after 15 350s, a few of which came with a trans. GM used them in about a billion vehicles and they're one of the most popular motors ever made so it's no surprised they're available cheap.

I've began a 4.0 collection. Most likely tomorrow I'll have # 3.

I had a good collection going in high school. I think I had 6 of them at one point, two being 4.2's though. All YJ parts. Sold most of it off since then. Just the stroker, a parts 4.0 and a parts 4.2 left. Only have one spare XJ 4.0, and it's not much of a spare considering it has a hole in the side of it and only 5 Pistons...

Ah, okay I see what you mean. Honestly I'd rather have a modern injected engine if I was going to go through the trouble of a swap. In fact I've been reading up on displacement on demand in the later engines chasing the ideal of improving both power and mileage. Well highway mileage at least

Talked to the guy with '03 WJ engine finally. Said he would be more then happy to pull the TUPY head and sell it separate. Most likely will pick it up Thursday. Made the deal for $50. Right or wrong to late now. A deal is a deal.

My neighbor directly next to me has became a real pos since their dog attacked mine. They called the city over and over again. But like the city said. If I put a privacy fence up I can do whatever I want in my backyard. So I moved my two personal rigs in my backyard. As well as a bunch of stripped parts. I don't like collecting motors without a garage.

Nope my shop. 6k of damage.

As far as the ls swaps aren't that bad honestly. And I am saving up for the novak brackets to fit it in my zj.

He already got drunk and hit something in his mustang. Hasn't moved in 6 months. Reason I don't see why he called the city on my vehicles. All mine run and drive lol.

Since I had to take the gf to work at 6am. I decided to come home and pull the motor, transmission and transfer case.
