just grab some quality 4 gauge and whatever end connectors you may need, make your own.

Project Jeep Week is officially underway. Pulled all the plugs to check. Adjusted the gap a little. I do this once a year. Had to wait for the auto parts store to deliver me some Dielectric grease. So I pulled the front bumper caps off to replace with some made in Taiwan ones I picked up cheap on Craigslist. Mine kinda suck and these are much better. They actually are made pretty good. And have another mounting point, not that you need it, that the Mopar ones don't have. Positioned one and they look and fit decent. Never having pulled them before I now realize what "Does not come with foam insert means" that you see on websites that sell aftermarket ones. So then my grease came and I decided to use the CRC 05113. It is a pressurized can and makes squirting into the spark plug boots, '00 with the coil bar, easier. So that is done. Now to finish up with the bumper caps.

Edit. Retract my statement about the additional mounting point. All this time and I never noticed that one of PO's hacked the caps where the tow hook would come through.

Changed the oil, swapped in the new speedometer gear that matches the new tires, and checked the diff.

More metal goo on the magnetic drain plug. Only drove it a hundred miles or so since the last drain and refill. There wasn't much on it but it was definitely some metal dust.

Bumper caps on. Amazing how much better the front looks. The old ones had a bunch of those blue stress fracture marks on them. I am guessing one of the PO's playing bumper cars with her. Pulled the rear passenger fender flare in anticipation of the touch up painting the Jeep will be getting soon. Hopefully in about a month. Roof and the passenger side rocker. My body guy will get rid of the little surface rust and do it nice nice. Hood needs it too but I am back on the 5.9 Hemi Louvre kick. Will most likely do at a later date. So I need to find some. Would be nice if I could find a pair, reasonable priced, soon so everything can get done at once. Will make tomorrows Project Jeep Week list in the morning.

Jeep gods smote my Blazer. ****ing thing threw a rod completely out of nowhere Friday.
Figures since I finally got the title and whatnot taken care of. Got to drive it for a whole week. ****ed up part is it was literally out of nowhere. Just stalled waiting to turn on to my road going home. Fired it back up, made it about a mile down the road before it just out of nowhere starts knocking and shuts off before I can even get my hand on the key to turn it off. Luckily it's all downhill so I was able to coast over a mile down into my neighborhood lol

Anyway, can't afford to fix it anytime soon so I might be picking up a TJ from a small dealer by my work. Not an XJ, but it's a Jeep at least.
