The hardest part of riding a motorcycle is not getting run over by the drunk SUV driver.

Don't have to be drunk. In my little ranger there's a spot it would be pretty much impossible to see a motorcyclist. I can just barely see their helmets over the toolbox turning around and it's in my mirror's blind spot. Probably wouldn't be a problem if I wasn't so short but it makes me appreciate the warning loud pipes give.

If you're actually going to get one you should have a bright helmet and not cruise in blind spots but that won't matter if you just need the license to move them around now and again at the shop

Definitely this. People never see you on a bike.

This.

Once you get the hang of it, it's a lot of fun and a lot more 'free' than riding in a cage. The great MPG never hurts either! I get 16mpg in my XJ, 31mpg in the Versa, and 45mpg on my Softail. Definitely watch out for the cagers though, you have to keep the mindset that nobody ever sees you and everyone's out to kill you. LOL at being drunk, even the sober ones will get you if you're not paying attention. It was a texting teenage girl in her mom's SUV that killed my grandpa in Arkadelphia a few years back.

I'm not familiar with Team Arizona, but if it's anything like the MCSF we have here in Cali (sounds like it is), that's your best bet. It costs a couple bucks but it's well worth it.

'98 XJ - lift, lockers, tires, flares...the usual crap
'00 Softail - pipes, apes, chrome bits...more of the usual crap
'08 Versa - econobox du jour

Thanks guys. I just need one for moving bikes around the shop or delivery of parts or the bikes them selves. And I can get a good employe discount on one if I chose to buy one. I also talked to my boss and he said they would help me pay for the safety course (Which is $260) but worth it. I was thinking of getting one anyways. The weather is so good in az. Safety is #1

If I get stationed in Cali, you will have to show me your shop one day

Got a mechanical gauge on the XJ and it has 50psi of oil pressure. I can sleep at night knowing my 16 year old Jeep runs and drives while my 4 year old Jeep is at the transmission shop.

He's an angel dressed in oilskins; he's a saint in the "Sou'wester,"
He's a pluck as they come, or ever can;
He's a hero born and bred, but it hasn't swelled his head,
For he's just the U.S. Government's hired man.
