That was my thought also but I'm not sure if there's enough room to drop the bolts in without lowering it.

You should definitely be able to change them out without dropping the tank. Just put a jack under the tank and do one at a time. If they are rusted I would almost just cut them out. The adjuster nuts on mine barely move anymore. The next time I drop the tank it's getting new straps for sure.

I managed to complete my list this year. I'm picking up a front axle today to start cleaning up, along with a 4'x10'x1/8" dp. I'm loaded for projects for awhile.

Yup they are for sure getting cut, they don't look terrible but the kit I got came with new bolts so there's no need to even try.

Transmission in the JK just lost reverse and OD, Google points to a clutch hub snap ring in the OD unit. Between the WCM, the bad lifters and now a transmission I am certain I bought a lemon Jeep.

Guess it's time to trade it in after only 6 months

Well reman Spartan ATK. Yeah seemed to be great quality and finish. Paid more for all covers installed and undere 10/10 regrinds on crank and cam. Smooth as can be! Had 3 year unlimited mileage warranty. And not a bad price. I'd do it again without a second thought. Even talked my brother into getting his 351w from them.
