Replaced the hair plugs and dreadlocks.
All in all mine weren't too bad but coil contact was very worn. Smoothed the engine out a good bit. Wanted to clean all my sensors but the night time caught me. Will do that tomorrow, after I pick up my Wrangler brake lines.

Probably cheaper to buy a nice XJ than a 3D printer.

That's why I said a "nice" XJ. And let's face it, most of what we do to our XJ's is not maintenance.

Replace my Freeze plugs.

I need some help.

1999 Cherokee Sport 4.0 Automatic 4 Wheel.

I had a serious Freeze plug leak, so I removed the Intake, Exhaust manifold, Injectors, etc. Replace the 5 freeze plugs on the side with Brass plugs.

Re Installed everything. Replaced the anitfreeze and started it up. Took a couple seconds since the fuel rail had been off for a week.

Once it fired up it ran smooth but immediately surged to 5000 rpm before I shut it down. Let it sit while I checked everything visibly. Couldn't see anything amiss. Started it again and same thing 5000 rpm. May have gone higher but I shut it down.

What should I be looking for as a cause of this surge to 5000+ rpms.

Thanks for any help you can lend.
