probably gonna put the 31s on tomorrow then take the 33s and 34s in to work monday and have the tires swapped. then ill need rims for the 33s but save tread on them and run the 34s for daily use tires.

Put the new (remanufactured) injectors from Remanufactured Fuel Injectors for LT1, TPI, 5.0L, 5.7L Mustang in. Pretty sweet, except they dont come with a notch for the clip to hold them on the rail... I just put em in without the clip. Maybe its just a placebo but it seems to idle more smoothly

Took off the pinion oil seal and reapplied with sealant with hopes to stop the leaking, while I was at it I went ahead and installed one of my rockcrusher diff covers and changed the 2 month old mud soaked dirty diff fluids and rinsed out the diff with solvent. Painted the driveshaft and diff cover, took off the center caps, trimmed up the front fenders including the inner pinch seam, and later I plan on cleaning the mud caked air filter.

edit: also put on YJ brakelines on the front.

Fitted a new twinflex exhaust manifold to my 98 4.0l engine in my 2000 xj, as the 2000 manifold was blowing at the head.
When i fitted it into my xj i did not know that the 2000 header was wrong for the 98 motor.
No real problems apart from the 4 lower bolts,[thank you to the boffin that designed that arrangment].
Custom down pipe is being made and fitted on friday to connect to the 2000 system. Stainless steel of course!!

Its really cool, and MUCH easier if you build it into a circuit board than if you try and do it without. I like the way it turned out but I will say its interesting when you get in at night and its cool blue and you're expecting a warm amber.

I do it all the time

Yeah, fun night.
If I had a nickel for every time thats happened to me....

Now the real question was whether you woke up in it alone

Today, I drove my XJ around and it was used to help a friend escort a boat trailer through town. I felt like I should have been the one doing the towing and not his honda ridgeline, but I dont have a hitch receiver yet
