That's what I did. Eventually I'll take the time to sand it all down and actually paint it. I would like to fix my rocker panels and paint the sides at the same time. Get it all prepped and do it once. Since this is only plastidip, the only prep I did was to wash it really well.

On the passenger side of the firewall kind of straight back from the dipstick. Should have a green cap on it, have you looked over all the evap lines?

It's difficult to run 37s on an XJ and flex too. The wells are just too small.

Easiest way is to start from that purge solenoid and follow them, just look for cracked or spongy rubber lines. Same thing with the cruise problem, start at the vacuum lines from the intake and follow them.

As far as the contest, I got given a free membership and am still very appreciative of that (Thanks Nolan!). I don't wanna win but it'd would have been nice to see my name once. I voted for a paid member cuz he is the #1 name that came to mind, regardless of membership status. If he wins and can't keep the freeby, it'll give him the chance to pay it forward.
This forum has been a life saver for me, really. My name reflects my outlook on life. I think you can figure out the rest of that. I am the guardian angel cuz I don't want any of you to suffer any of the details of my life.
As for my Jeep, I do intend to keep building and using the forum to avoid pitfalls. I don't even mind the crap I get about the dp cuz I know if any of you saw it in person the crap would turn to smiles and compliments. I am very proud of my build, and believe I went the extra step to do my lift to the enth degree.
I don't want praise, I don't want pity. Just some credit, like putting myself on the line to help Chris by stopping fights and the cussing and cruelty. If I have to be seen as the ******* to watch out for, at least that's credit for something.

How many cans did you need for that?

And cage, that od green/black is sweet too but I'm already starting out with a red xj.

Just got my non putco harness recommended by many here. Want to verify I got the right kit. Part #102385, right?

Yeah I'm starting with a palmetto blue but need a new paint job anyway. I'm either going to go ODG/black or palmetto blue again and do a faint palmetto tree and crescent moon on the front doors since I live in SC.

Not much. I had to redo two panels due to a stupid mistake on my part and I think I still only used 5 cans and had some left over. I put it on in 1 thin layer followed by 2 think layers. All right in a row. One panel at a time and it takes about 5 minutes to spray all 3 layers. I then made sure to pull the tape off the body lines before it tried so that I didn't get any tares. This allowed the dip to smooth out at the edges and gave me a good firm line. I don't have to worry about it when washing the Jeep. It isn't going anywhere unless I want it to. Only issue I have found so far is at the rear fenders. When people get out of the back seats they tend to slide on the fender are and it has started to peel right there on both sides. I guess I need better instructed passengers haha.
