Trying to decide wether or not to swap in my new 02 sensor.

I tossed in one form my 2000 parts car with 110K on it and no CEL codes and the CEL on my 99 never went away.
I think it's from the exhaust leaks. Hard decision, Maybe fix my CEL or Maybe live with it and just buy some ammo.

Question : where does the air come from when the 'climate' control slide is set to VENT ?

In our '95 Country the air is very warm , bordering on hot . I'd like it to be closer to outside temps , if possible .

I think the cowl. If the blend door near the heater core doesn't fully close or the foam gaskets are shot you get heat

I suppose the only way to check is to tear the system apart ?

Yes, the guts of the box are buried in there. It's not easy to see the insides unless its open

With my heat of completely I still get heat after doing my heater core. I probably should have looked at the gaskets inside closer

Dang . I wonder if an access hole could be cut in the ducting ...

I'll have to check into it more closely tomorrow . There has to be an easy way .

Could add some 12v computer fans inside the cowl to push more "cold" air in?

I wonder how much torque is required to operate the ac compressor? Had an idea yesterday about bypassing the serp to something else and drive the compressor with an electric motor.

You would only end up burning through alternators and/or batteries.
