Are ZJ calipers better than XJ calipers regarding the front brakes? And are any modifications needed to swap? I don't need it described, just 2 yes or no answers.

I would look at upgrading the master before calipers. Unless you already have the double valve? There are a few write ups on here about that.

Oh, you can get 'better, premium' brakes from Black Magic Brakes. These guys are super high dollar though. Some claim it's worth the cash.
Mostly just looking for a higher piston count on the calipers with the same size rotors.

The only problem I have with write-ups is you follow step by step, spend all the money and work invested, and the next day you find the other writeup that explains why not to do what you just finished.

Been there, done that. It's not every time though.

Took my Jeep to go look at this:

Jeeping - The art of getting dirty & going broke while slowly heading nowhere, and taking all day to do it.

97 XJ SE - The War Wagon
98 TJ - Mall Crawler/Light Trail Rig
06 KJ - Basic Transportation
