I'd sit down in my living room each evening during TV time and get them done for free.

I thought about it. But there's tons of layers of paint from the PO. Plus they'll be getting coated hunter orange.

Well since you're gonna paint 'em ugly, why clean 'em? Scuff what's there and paint.

Ahh, clean surfaces, I'd still do it myself only cuz that's one of my hobbies. And I've already got every chemical needed, along with having every form of abrasive apparatus.

Installed some LED foot well lights today. Saw an earlier post in this thread and thought I would try them.

So much light now! lol

Wonder if you can get LED cabin/dome lights?

Yep, you can.

Do a quick search for XJ LED conversions and you'll find numerous posts on different forums where people have done LED conversions on all the bulbs. I think it just comes down to getting the right bulbs because sometimes (in my opinion) it's a PITA figuring out what bulbs to get which are the right ones to fit.

Swapping out interior LEDs is on the "To Do" list in the upcoming months for me. So I guess I'll try to document exactly what LED bulbs I used as replacements and whether they're right.
