Ouch. Be careful dude. You got a beautiful XJ but you can't wheel if you're injured.

There's a fresh air intake right where you're looking. Seal goes bad, and you get what you're getting. I thought I was having that problem but it turned out to be the ****ty windshield replacement the PO had done.

That little baby crack haha. If you don't wanna spend a whole lot of money you can take said manifold to an exhaust shop and hand them weld it... did that to a buddy mud truck wit long tube headers. The guy only charged me 20 bucks and it's lasted over 2 years now

It's all good. Grabbed some new hose to try out for a bypass.
Tearing the heater box out of the parts car. I plan to rebuild that one and have it ready to go in when I get a few spare hours.

Ok that sounds a lot better. I'll have to look into that

Finished replacing the wiper motor today. The wipers never stopped at the bottom and didn't work on intermittent, but now they do!

On another note, I have a pretty steady oil leak coming from near the drain plug and tranny bell housing. Any ideas of where it could be coming from?

Went to go replace what I thought was a rotten o-ring for the fuel pump (fuel was leaking out of the top of the tank).

Turns out it was another instance of "guy previous owner paid for work on this jeep had no business near a wrench."

Found an aftermarket fuel pump with the locking ring barely finger-tight. After taking it off, discovered that the o-ring was half falling into the tank, ie no way that was sealing even a little bit.

Explains why it always smelled like gas for 2-3 days after a fillup.

Installed my AutoPals head light even though the putco harness and GE bulbs haven't got here yet. I like the look of them so far. A lot but can't wait to test them tonight.

Without the harness you probably won't notice much difference over stock. The difference with the harness is retarded though lol
