Hours, years, whatever. I have no patience.

First of all, I'd like to punch a Jeep engineer and whoever put the hitch on in the face.

The engineer that decided a 15mm bolt was needed directly above the leaf eye where it's im-****ing-possible to get a socket or wrench in can go **** himself. Luckily a 5/8 spark plug wrench fits well enough and the backside of that socket will take a box wrench so I was able to work them out.

The guy that did the hitch decided the 10+ bolts that hold the hitch on the frame and factory bumper weren't enough and decided to weld god damn angle iron to the frame and and hitch. Luckily he sucked at welding and didn't bother to paint anything so my fat *** jumping up and down on the bumper after I took the bolts off was enough to break his welds.

I haven't wrenched on the ground in a couple years. Definitely thankful I've got lifts at work because that **** sucks.

Haha I feel your pain, though mine wasnt welded. I will give Jeep some props on the bumper mounting design, really ties into the unibody very well, much better than the XJ design.

Bumper looks good on there, wish my MJ was that clean lol.

Maybe you should just tell us how you really feel .

I've been there ... I swear that some 'engineers' have never had a wrench in their hands .

But for the stickers , that new bumper looks good .

Got more done on the 3-link, flat belly project. Discovered truly how much bigger the 242 is over the 231.

Completely stock, and keeping it that way...

Made a $40 purchase last week that I fear will be fighting for my time and money over the XJ. But good news is its 4x4...converted to electric...r/c. Will take a pic later that mabey will not be too large to upload. But it is/was a first gen T-Maxx. Spent $85 tonight for a couple of Lipo's and a charger. But the cool thing is... wait for it...

Mounted a 22" rigid lightbar onto the stock bumper, and a toggle switch next to the dash in my 00'. Couldn't be more impressed with it! I'd post pictures but I don't have enough posts yet.

Use that switch for a cooling fan override, or extended idle!
