Did another coolant flush to try and get rid of the red paste in the radiator. Also dropped off my new wheels to have them converted to beadlocks

Fwiw, this is my xj - (still trying to find time to install the lift, and scratch up cash for tires, dont laugh)
Imo, anything other than black would look weird with the rest of it.

(the spare was up there to make room for the cooler, and the rear doors to hold in the dog)

Its a Johnny cash song - Engine is 98, trans is 95, body is 96, doors from a 94

So winter plans have been decided. Now that I have a garage.
5.0 ho out of a 'sploder
Mountaineer cam
Truck manifolds
Gt40 heads
Msd gadgets
Np435
Dana 20 t case
My reason being that combo is falling in my lap for $550 hard to say no to that! T case plans may change though.

97 XJ on 4Ds.

Got sideways in the rain this morning, going through a curve whilst going uphill. It was probably more exciting for the oncoming civic than it was for me.

I'd put off the np242 swap until later because I figured the larger tires would make it less squirrely in light rain (more surface area contacting the road). Both my previous XJs had the 242 and I'd throw it in 4FT during the rain to keep it from sliding. So that's back on the list for sooner-rather-than-later

Cps didnt make a difference apparently, jeep is still stalling. Im trying to find out what kind of ecu i need. I was reading that that 89 and up ecu's are more desirable, and were swapped in older trucks as a mod. I actually have a 89 ecu that i could swap in. I dont care about any performance gain, i just need my jeep to run

Just got it back from the shop (new cam position sensor) it was running fine until the next day then it started shaking quite violently and the check engine light was flashing. Anybody know what's going on???

Bad miss fire. Light flashing indicates possible damage being done to cat. Don't drive like that, get it back to the shop.
