Got my tj flares mounted on to make it street legal again and a set of used aluminum rims to be able to go above 40 mph again one of my steel rims was so bent I'm surprised I didn't break anything running it as long as I did

I think that might be the only time I've ever seen anyone on here actually change out speedo gears. We can all spend thousands on tires, axles, lockers, suspension, bumpers, armor, ect, ect, but we're all too cheap to spend $40 on fixing our speedos lol.

About that much and all it takes is the removal of one very accessible bolt and about a minute of time lol

It has been a while since I wrote anything on here. The XJ has been through several stages of work.... a lot of work getting done to absolutely nothing but staring at it while drinking beer. Since the last time I posted the jeep got a rebuilt cylinder head, 3 core aluminum radiator, new rear main seal and a new oil pump. The transmission line twisted off when I tried to remove it so that's now been repaired and I'll be cranking it up this week soon. I'll try to get some pics up soon.

Got rear bumpstops setup and ran down behind the house for a mini test.

Still plenty of rear droop to go.
